Record Summary Window
View all records and sort these as desired and obtain on-the-fly
general data for selected (highlighted) records only.

Data entry window
Specify any compounding period with any payment period (including
every x days). The unknown variable (payment, number of payments,
starting principal or interest rate) may be computed automatically.

Use the "Profile" or default options to create a typical
loan.
Detailed client (borrower) data window
Use the "Profile" or default options to minimize data
entry.

Detailed creditor (or fund) data window
Use the "Profile" or default options to minimize data
entry.

APR/APY input window
Obtain on-the-fly updated APR/APY.
Use the "Profile" or default options to save your typical
APR settings

Advanced settings
Specify simple or compound interest, Day count, short payment method,
and various other calculation-specific data here.
Use the "Profile" or default options to save your typical
advanced settings (including day count, simple or compound interest,
etc.)

Detailed results schedule
Detailed payments schedules are produced after pressing
on "Compute".
Line status may be included to reflect due payments,
paid payments, pad late payments, unpaid payments, partial payments,
additional payments, interest rate change, fees, additional principal,
invoice, returned check, withdrawal and 3 other status.
A comment may also be included on each payment line.

If a completely uniform payment schedule is required,
the interest portion of the last payment line may be adjusted.
Changing a results schedule
A results schedule may be completely changed to include countless
scenarios (interest only, fixed principal, missed payments, late
payment, extra payments, additional principal, fees, payment recomputation,
lump sum payments, etc.).

The right mouse click of the mouse is a very powerful tool when
changing a results schedule.
With the right mouse click:
- multiple selected payments or interest rates may be changed
at once;
- multiple new payment lines added or insterted in the table;
- step payments (in monetary units ($, €, £, F, etc.)
or percentage) added;
- equal payments or interest rates recomputed;
- interest-only or fixed principal payments added;
- etc.
Other features allow a change in calculation method for certain
lines (suggested in certain circumstances for short periods),
the export of the schedule directly to Excel or other formats, etc.

Record history (data change log)
Any change made in a results schedule is recorded in the record
log. The log includes the user, date, hour and change itself.

Record update tool
Update all late payments and payments due on the selected date
through the Payment Update tool. Late payments are in red
and payments due on the selected date (01/01/2008 in this example)
are in black.

Reports
Margill Loan Manager offers multiple reports and new reports are
added regularly based on clients' needs. You need a specific report,
your "dream report", please do let us know....

Letter/Report merge tool
Create any letter or report and insert the record data in order
to do mailings, statements or reports. Choose among more than 25
data (client name, loan amount, payment, APR, etc.) to create these
RTF (Rich Text Format) documents that can be printed in seconds.

Variable interest rate tables
Use one of the MARIO LIEN 125+
interest tables: central bank rates or judicial (pre and
post judgment, late tax) rates.
Or create your own tables in a snap. There essentially
is no limit as to the number of dates and rates that can be inserted
in a table.

Nominal-Effective interest rate converter and equivalent rates

Interest between dates and sales tax calculations (US, Canada, Europe)
Other nice to have tools include interest between dates and a handy
sales tax calculations for most US states, Canadian provinces and
European countries.
