This is an important update that offers a number of new options
and corrects some elements of the major Margill update from January
26 (Margill 2.9)(see below for all v. 2.9 Release notes).
INNOVATIONS of version 2.9.060421:
- Recurring payments (amortization):
In a normal compound interest amortization, "Short"
periods (periods of less than one full period) may now use Simple
interest (using various day counts) to calculate the interest
for the period.
Balance - Ignore small loan balance (add or subtract to interest)
for equal payments throughout the loan.
New nomenclature for identifying positive payments (refunds)
and negative payments (increase in principal).
Printed report when using Simple Interest: effective balance
totals in the "Balance" column.

This major update includes the following new features:
New functions:

Calculations can be done according to various day count conventions
(Actual/Actual (most precise method), Actual/365, 30/360, Actual/360)
- New functions for the "Periodic payments (Amortization)"
calculation of which:
- Refund Interest only
- Refund a Fixed Principal amount
- Refund a combination of the above methods (and normal
refund - interest first)
- Calculation of the unknown interest rate, whether the
payments are regular or not
- Recalculation of the payments required to yield a balance
= 0,00 or other amount when irregular payments are made
(for example, lump sums...)
- Production of a blank payment schedule but including the
variable interest rates and dates
- Add many lines at once at the end of a schedule
- Possibility to Undo the changes made in a payment schedule
